Caleb Chan

Caleb Chan is Managing Director of Trade Technologies Asia Ltd. for the Asia-Pacific region, leading the company's operations across Hong Kong, Foshan, Kuala Lumpur, Mumbai, and Singapore.

Since joining Trade Technologies in 2005, Caleb has played a key role in expanding the company's presence throughout the Asia-Pacific region, providing innovative trade finance solutions and supporting financial institutions, corporates, and trade participants in enhancing operational efficiency, risk management, and digital transformation initiatives.

With nearly 40 years of experience in international banking, trade finance, and financial technology, Caleb is recognized as a seasoned professional in the global trade ecosystem.

Prior to joining Trade Technologies, Caleb held management and specialist positions with several leading international financial institutions, including JPMorgan Chase Bank, Bank One, Bank of America/NationsBank, Standard Chartered Bank, and First Interstate Bank of California. Throughout his banking career, he developed deep expertise in documentary trade, letters of credit, trade operations, trade systems, quality assurance, and process optimization.

Beginning his career in trade services and documentary processing, Caleb progressed through increasingly senior positions in trade operations, systems management, and regional leadership. His broad experience spans import and export trade finance, banking operations, trade technology implementation, operational risk management, and business process transformation.

Caleb holds a Bachelor of Science in Financial Services from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom, and is an Associate of The Chartered Institute of Bankers (United Kingdom).
