Dr. Saive is a renowned expert in the digitalization of international trade, transport, and trade finance. Named Advisor of the Year 2023 by the Centre for Digital Trade and Innovation (UK), he has played a key role in shaping the legal and regulatory landscape for digital trade. His award-winning PhD thesis on blockchain-based electronic trade documents has been widely recognized as a pioneering work in the field. Beyond academia, Dr. Saive serves as Special Advisor for International Trade, Finance & Digitalization at the German National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC Germany). He is also a Lawyer & Legal Product Owner at the Open Logistics Foundation, where he drives forward-thinking digital logistics solutions. As the Founder & Co-Editor of Logistik & Recht (LogR), an interdisciplinary law journal, he continues to shape thought leadership in trade digitalization.
